At IASCO Flight Training, you'll work alongside experienced instructor mentors, refine your teaching techniques, and prepare for both your FAA practical exams and the responsibilities of professional instruction.

Eligibility & Certification Requirement:
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)

Before earning your FAA Certified Flight Instructor Certificate, you'll need to:

Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate (or ATP)

Be at least 18 years old

Read, write, speak, and understand English

Pass the Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI) Knowledge Exam

Pass the Flight Instructor Knowledge Exam

Receive the required instructor endorsements

Successfully complete the FAA Practical Test

Demonstrate instructional knowledge and teaching proficiency

Note: FAA requirements are governed by 14 CFR Part 61.
