Be at least 17 years old to receive your Private Pilot Certificate.
Hold a valid FAA Third-Class Medical Certificate (or higher).
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Successfully complete the FAA Knowledge Test (written exam).
Receive the required flight and ground training endorsements from your instructor.
Pass the FAA Practical Test (checkride), which includes both an oral exam and flight evaluation.
Complete the required flight training and aeronautical experience outlined by the FAA.
Demonstrate proficiency in the required flight maneuvers, procedures, and safety skills.
Show a thorough understanding of aviation knowledge, including weather, navigation, regulations, aircraft systems, and flight planning.
Note: FAA certification requirements are governed by 14 CFR Part 61. Training requirements may vary based on your experience and individual training pathway.
